Kaon Photoproduction     [Overview]

Data Base
The data base for the reaction p -> K+ contains on the order of 2K data points.
Observables
Observables are defined in terms of both helicity and transversity amplitudes in: Barker, Donnachie and Storrow, Nucl. Phys. B95, 347 (1975). The relation to invariant amplitudes and pole-model resonance couplings is outlined in Adelseck, Bennhold and Wright, Phys. Rev. C32, 1681 (1985).
Multipole Amplitudes
A connection to multipole amplitudes is given in the above ABW reference. At present, the data base is insufficient to support a reliable multipole analysis.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
The CNS Data Analysis Center is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Thomas Jefferson Lab, and the Research Enhancement Funds of The George Washington University, with strong support from the GW Northern Virginia Campus.
